Abstract:

Highlights the design, nature and importance of Behaviour Change Communication as vital tools in communicating HIV/AIDS issues in Uganda, as evidenced in the journey travelled by the country to reduce HIV/AIDS prevalence, through various BCC initiatives coordinated by the Knowledge Management and Communication Capacity (KMCC) and other partners. The book starts with an introduction to the processes, followed by the methodologies used. The topics coming after are as follows: responses to HIV/AIDS, interventions, key lessons, the Behaviour Change Communications campaigns that were done in different parts of the country and finally the conclusion.
