Abstract:

The purpose of this rapid assessment was to assess the cultural attitudes, perceptions and practices of the people residing in the Seke area that predisposed them to HIV infection before the implementation of interventions by SAfAIDS. The report would be used to generate interventional strategies to positively influence cultural change in attitude, perception and practices of people within this community with regards to gender in the face of HIV and AIDS.
