A position paper on how to end HIV and Hepatitise C among prople who inject drugs. The first section looks at ending the HIV and hepatitis C epidemics amongst people who inject drugs. Followed by the link between HIV and drug use. The other section is on what works in harm reduction, then drug policy problems. Getting harm reduction services to people to overcome barriers is also included and lastly a snapshot of the Alliance’s community-based HIV and harm reduction programmes relating their successes and what needs to change if effective ways are to be realised globally.
